Charles Brooks is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at King’s College. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University, his masters in psychology from Wake Forest University, and his doctorate in experimental psychology from Syracuse University. He was at King’s College from 1975-2011, and served as Department Chair for 29 years. He has authored numerous papers in professional journals and co-authored three books. He is married and has two daughters.

Michael Church is Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department at King’s College. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University at Fullerton, and his masters and doctoral degrees in psychology from the University of Miami. Dr. Church has been a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice since 1980. For more than twenty years he worked at First Hospital Wyoming Valley where he directed psychological testing and performed group therapy. He has co-authored three books. Dr. Church is married and has three daughters.

Carlea Dries is a school psychologist and a professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from King’s College, a masters degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a masters degree in counseling from William Paterson University, certifications in educational leadership through Thomas Edison University, and her doctorate degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Dries has been an author and reviewer for professional articles and books, primarily in the area of assessment and crisis response. She is married to her high school sweetheart.

Brian Cook received his bachelor’s degree from King’s College and his master’s degree from the University of Scranton.  He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).  He has worked in the mental health field for over 12 years in community mental health, the Pennsylvania state prison system, and at First Hospital Wyoming Valley, an acute inpatient psychiatric facility.  Currently he is the Director of the Counseling Center at King’s College and maintains a private practice.  He has taught courses in psychology as an adjunct professor at both King’s College and Luzerne County Community College.  He is married and has a son and a daughter.
